Mary (she/her) is pursuing a degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics and a Sustainability Certificate at the University of Alberta. She’s a young Iranian-Canadian whose passions lie within sustainability and the role women can play in tackling climate change. Her previous projects were focused on intersectionality and gender equality in the fields of renewable energy and agriculture. She is familiar with GreenPAC through the Parliamentary Internship for the Environment program, where she was an Agricultural Intern. Mary is beyond excited to bring her knowledge and experiences to her role with the Youth Advisory Committee and work besides inspiring young people.
