Alison is a Chinese settler born to first generation immigrants, living on the unceded and unsurrendered lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish First Nations. She is a second term Burnaby City Councillor and a former ELC intern. Her priorities at the municipal level include active transportation, decarbonizing buildings, affordable housing, and equity. Prior to her time in office, Alison cycled from Ottawa to Burnaby against the Trans Mountain Expansion pipeline while fundraising for the legal fees of the First Nations fighting the project in court.
